Fabian Russ - Schrottmann Remixed [tonatom.114]
Just now a remarkable new album has been released on the netlabel tonatom: It's called "Schrottmann Remixed" by the Leipzig based composer Fabian Russ. A couple of illustrious musicians got together and edited Russ` Original "Schrottmann", which is a film soundtrack presenting a perfect mixture of piano arrangements and field recordings. Very different but worth listening songs were formed, which all go beyond the scope of the usual association of remixing.
I am very happy to be part of this release with a contribution of my own. It's called Schrott, Mann!.
So, don't hesitate and download the album. Have fun listening.
Bravo! special-slipcase-edition
For my current album bravo a friend has designed a special cd-r slipcase edition of 30 pieces (according to my digipak-artwork). The packages contain not just the music but a small booklet with information about the songs and always two pictures of "instruments", I used to play on the album. These pictures have also appeared in my little trailer I have published to announce the album this spring. To get a copy please contact me via hey [at] msc-rxp [dot] de. Remix - Videum / Fabian Russ
During the last two months I worked on a remix of a orchestral-arrangement by the german composer Fabian Russ. The resulting song oscillates between Hip Hop, Trash and big Tamtam and is available as a free download.

objet trouvé [tonatom.103]
A few months have past since this release came out, but of couse it has to be mentioned on this page. To create objet trouvé 6 tonatom-artists (including me) joined to collect a bunch of samples and went on producing songs of this material. They were told just to use the collected samples and were not allowed to use effects, that could modify the material beyond recognition. In the end 6 different compositions were brought together, which are alike in a strange way. You think this is impossible? Than come on and listen:

ne:o - illoj
On march the 12th my band ne:o has released its new album "illoj" on aaahh-records. You can download it for free and in fine mp3/ogg-quality. Just like our previous releases "illoj" is licenced under a creative-commons-license. There will be a CD-version of the album, too.
We recorded, produced and mixed the 9 songs in the time from 2006 to 2009. The song "parte" is a cover-version of the electro-hit "parte de la produccion" by the spanish musician/producer Alejandro Remeseiro aka Konsumprodukt and Prosper Prowano. For e.g. he has releases on netlabels like tonatom, dotnumdunton and futurekomp.

The cologne musician Juia Kotowski aka entertainment for the braindead released her impressing album "hydrophobia" on the two german netlabels aaahh-records.net and aerotone.net this summer. In november i followed aaahh-records request for remixes and created a mix for one song of this album. my contribution and further very nice mixes has been released in recent days.

hello,
i just launched my own "private" homepage these days. its name is a little bit clumsy, but makes sense and contains two secrets. at least one of it is very easy to find out.
and what`s this site all about? i thought it`s time to collect and present all the music i did with friends or alone in the past and the music i will do in the future. of course you`ll find a lot of ne:o - stuff, but there are songs i did for others also.
